The mission of this awards program is "To reward and recognize post-secondary institutions who have achieved outstanding industrial craft workforce development programs."
GBRIA, through our initiatives and this awards program, recognizes the significant ongoing work to offer technical education and industry-backed credentials (IBC). This effort began in consideration of what the industrial sector means for keeping the economy in Louisiana prosperous and to recognize the schools and teachers who are training the men and women who will craft the future.

Each school or center may be self-nominated or by a plant, contract employer, or a group of plants and/or contractors that sponsor a school/program.

After being nominated, each school will also need to complete an application to be considered for the 2022 awards program.
