An Invitation to participate in this study

Greetings, my name is Ella Henry, and I am a Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Business School at AUT. I am working with Dr Christina Milligan (Ngāti Porou) from the School of Communication Studies, on this study.
This is an invitation to participate in a research project funded by the Broadcasting Standards Authority, in collaboration with Te Puni Kōkiri and Manatū Tāonga, the Ministry for Culture & Heritage. The purpose of the study is to explore the appropriate use of mātauranga Māori in the media.
What is the purpose of this research?
The findings of this research will be used in a report to the Broadcasting Standards Authority, Te Puni Kōkiri and Manatū Tāonga, the Ministry for Culture & Heritage, and may also be used for academic publications and presentations on this issue.

What are the benefits?
The key benefit of participating in this study is the ability to have your say on issues relating to mātauranga Māori in the media, and having those views reflected in the final report to the Broadcasting Standards Authority, Te Puni Kōkiri and Manatū Tāonga, the Ministry for Culture & Heritage.
