2.Which component projects interest you or align well with your organization's strategic prorities?

Health Venture Collaborative: create a vibrant healthcare innovation ecosystem with regionally aligned incentives that generates successful new ventures. HVC focuses on home monitoring to early diagnostics to more individualized interventions and treatments to addressing care for the growing aging population, the high acuity cases, and “sandwich” generation health needs (mental health, obesity, cancer).

Virtual Care Innovation Center: a highly customized and specialized collaboration space where multidisciplinary and multisector collaborations accelerate innovation. It will house “hospital at home” testing and demonstration capabilities, the Healthcare Venture Collaborative, and growth stage tech startups.

West Valley “STEM-West” Innovation & Career Hub at Ottawa University: support a diverse population of local residents, students and entrepreneurs in engineering, prototyping, building, and scaling software and augmented-reality education services and business models through physical facilities and technical assistance/mentorship.

Manufacturing Innovation Center: a build-deploy-scale contract manufacturing facility for rapid design and development of machine-readable diagnostics as well as other health tech product prototyping.

Community Health Workforce Network: scale effective initiatives and strengthen partnerships. The Network aims to support community health workforce acquire skills and credentials that lead to new career pathways and higher paying jobs.

Consumer Engagement and Access Platform: create a consumer ID hub with infrastructure to match individuals across traditional medical care and social determinants of health datasets. A related resource platform will be created allowing providers, payors, and other healthcare leaders to build alternative business models to serve high-risk and underserved medical populations.
