Since launching in 2020, Food and Drink North East (FADNE) has supported our region's food and drink sector by improving resilience, guiding businesses through a significant period of challenges, providing targeted business support, and nurturing a network of over 1200 industry stakeholders.
Our advocacy has raised the sector's profile, focusing on food, farming, productivity, innovation, entrepreneurship, procurement, and public health.
Through training, events, and exhibitions, we've united the industry and found common ground for the region's agri, food, drink, hospitality and manufacturing clusters.
Despite our progress, our work is far from done.
We aim to make our initiative more inclusive, support businesses of all sizes, working across the region, and influence the content of a new local industrial strategy and, with new government and a new regional Mayor, this is a critical crossroads for our industry.
Recognising the sector's role in employment, innovation, sustainability, and public health is crucial and your support is vital.
By supporting FADNE, you amplify our voice, ensuring our sector's interests are prioritised in policy decisions.
Participation in this survey will help shape the future of this organisation, but will also help us to grow a thriving food and drink sector here in the North East.
Sincerely,
Chris Jewitt - CEO, Food and Drink North East
