2026 Pathways to Success Scholarship |
The USC Credit Union Community Foundation is proud to offer the Pathways to Success Scholarship, designed to support foster youth students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. This scholarship aims to empower students in their pursuit of higher education and future career success.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a scholarship will be awarded. Only fully completed applications will be considered.
Scholarship Amount:
- Each awardee will receive $2,500 towards their college education.
- A total of 6 scholarships will be awarded.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a graduating high school senior or a current college student who will attend a college, university, or trade school in the Fall.
- Youth in Foster Care or Former Foster Youth.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Be a resident of Los Angeles County.
- Demonstrate active involvement in community service, leadership, or extracurricular activities.
- Demonstrate proof of financial need.

- Official Academic Transcript
- Letter of Recommendation (from a teacher, counselor, or community leader)
- Personal Statement Essay (500-750 words)
- Proof of Community Involvement (volunteer/work experience verification or a signed letter from an organization)
- Provide documentation of financial need (see application for further details).
- Foster Youth Proof of Dependency/Wardship Document
