The Jane L. Morris Women Leading Government Scholarship recognizes women in local government in honor of Jane L. Morris, former Executive Director/CEO of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
Through this scholarship fund Arizona Women Leading Government (AZ WLG) will award the following to one individual:

Award Amount
• One complimentary AZ WLG 2026 Conference registration.
• Up to $500 in travel reimbursement*
*Scholarship recipients to provide receipts from travel expenses for reimbursement following conference.
• One complimentary AZ WLG membership.
Evaluation Criteria
1) Working within government or actively seeking a career and/or advancement in government
2) AZ WLG or non-AZ WLG members are eligible to apply
3) Potential for future public service (not about to retire or shift to private sector)
4) First time attending an AZ WLG Conference
5) Financial Need
6) Size of Organization
7) Scope of Job Responsibilities
8) Strength of Application
