Breakthrough is looking for volunteers for our 10th grade Resume Review & Mock Interview Session in 2026. Please see below for the event details and description.
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, March 7th, 2026
Time: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Location: Herbert Hoover Middle School - 1635 Park Ave. San Jose, CA 95126
Event Description & Volunteer Role:
At the Resume Review & Mock Interviews Session, volunteers will review draft resumes, help students understand what employers are looking for, and provide feedback they can incorporate to help them stand out amongst other applicants. Volunteers will also help students practice their interview techniques, identify suggestions to convey their strengths, grow confidence when speaking about themselves, and overcome interview jitters. HR experience is a plus, but not required!
Breakthrough will also provide a brief training on the day of the event.
