Running for President: Suzette Loving (incumbent)

Bio: Suzette Loving is a professor of the practice at the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, School of Accountancy. With over 12 years of teaching experience, her primary focus is teaching AIS and Data Analytics courses as well as introductory accounting courses for undergraduate and MBA students. Prior to academia, Suzette worked for companies such as eBay, Commerce One and Ernst & Young. While at eBay, Suzette led the IT Internal Audit team and guided the company through the early years of SOX 404. In her time at Commerce One, she served as a corporate trainer and curriculum developer for the company's B2B software product suite. In the early part of her career, Suzette worked for Ernst & Young in the Chicago office where she performed data analytics, IT general controls audits and specialized in SAP security implementations and reviews. She holds a CPA and a CISA. She received her MBA and BA in Accounting with an emphasis on Accounting Information Systems from Michigan State University. In the Denver ISACA Chapter, Suzette has served as President, VP of Education, Treasurer, and Secretary.

Running for EVP - Nipun Mahajan (incumbent)

Bio: Nipun has over 12 years of experience in information security and currently works at Lonza as Senior Cybersecurity Analyst. He is a CISSP-certified professional with a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University. Nipun specializes in cross-platform application security with extensive experience in SAP, Business Intelligence Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), and Segregation of Duties (SOD) analysis. With a robust technical background in tools such as SAP HANA Security, Oracle EBS Application Security, and cloud services, Nipun has demonstrated expertise in security management, vulnerability assessments, risk management, and delivering transformative security solutions at large organizations. His career includes significant roles at Lonza, RSM US LLP, Deloitte, and IBM India, where he managed and implemented critical security infrastructure, risk management controls, and compliance activities. Nipun is actively involved in the cybersecurity community as a co-chair, presenter, and mentor, contributing to various conferences and educational initiatives. In the Denver ISCACA Chapter, Nipun has served as Executive Vice President leading ISACA's participation in the annual RMISC Conference. Nipun also served multiple years as the academic relations coordinator building the chapter's outreach to local colleges and universities.

Running for VP Education - Kaysi Veatch and Gaelle Koanda

Given the significance of this role, we are proposing a shared VP Education role for the 2024 year. Please vote for 2 candidates.

Bio: Kaysi Veatch is currently the director of IT Audit at Ball Corporation. Previously, she served as the Director of Cyber and IT Audit at Maxar Technologies. She has 13 years of Internal Audit experience in information technology and operational audits including SOX controls. Kaysi works to prioritize projects around completing the IT/Cyber Audit programs, leads audit processes from planning, fieldwork, to reporting issues and establishing management buy-in on recommendations and follow-up actions. Kaysi has achieved the CISA, CIA, CISSP and the CSX Fundamentals certifications. She serves on the Rocky Mountain Information Security Committee. She has been an active member of the Denver ISACA Chapter serving as President, Past President, VP of Education, Secretary, Volunteer Coordinator, and Communication chair.


Bio: Gaelle Koanda is a highly experienced cybersecurity professional and a board member of ISACA. With a strong background in cybersecurity, Gaelle holds several professional certifications. While her expertise extends across industries, she has a particular focus on the aerospace and defense sector. Gaelle has a proven track record in developing and implementation risk-based audit programs for information systems, as well as providing valuable cybersecurity and data protection training to organizations within the aerospace and defense industry. Additionally, she is passionate about promoting woman's participation in cybersecurity and brings a diverse cultural perspective to her work. She brings a risk culture perspective to her work advocacy, having lived in the USA for the past 15 years after originating from Burkina Faso, West Africa. Outside of her professional pursuits, Gaelle is a devoted mother and cherishes spending time with her son. Gaelle has served the Denver ISACA chapter as Volunteer Coordinator and as the She Leads Tech Ambassador.

Running for VP Membership - Blaise Wabo (incumbent)

Bio: Blaise is the Healthcare and Financial Services Director and Knowledge Leader at A-LIGN. With over 13 years of experience in Security Compliance and Risk Management, Blaise has a very unique background as a CPA, CISA, CITP, CCSFP and CCSK. Blaise has performed over 500 SOC 1/2 examination reviews and over 500 HITRUST/HIPAA assessments for Global 1000 and Fortune 500 clients in various industries. For the past two years, Blaise has served as the Denver ISACA chapter VP of Membership.

Running for Treasurer - Kyle Toedtli

Bio: Kyle Toedtli is an IT Audit Associate Director with Protiviti in their Denver, CO office. Kyle obtained his CISA in 2017 and has experience leading public company readiness IT audits, IT SOX audits, and security assessments across multiple industries. Kyle is also involved with community service and DEI initiatives in the Denver area. Kyle graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Business Administration focusing on Information Systems and Finance. He hopes to continue volunteering with ISACA as the Denver chapter Treasurer to stay connected with IT professionals and to connect members in the chapter with each other. Previously, Kyle was the Denver chapter Secretary for three years.

Running for Secretary - Betsy Bird Klein

Bio: Betsy Bird Klein is the Sr. Director of Security Strategy and Shared Services for Global Security Services at Lumen. Betsy is focused on strategic planning and ongoing business operations including overseeing the security Program Management Office (PMO), metrics and reporting, service management, and process optimization. Previously, Betsy spent 20+ years in Internal Audit where she worked closely with Senior Leadership and Audit Committees to understand risk from all perspectives and provide meaningful feedback on processes in place to mitigate that risk. Betsy has been a volunteer for Special Olympics for the last 20+ years acting as an on- field Partner/Coach for athletes with cognitive disabilities. Betsy has served ISACA Denver as Secretary and Treasurer in the past.
