IETF 102 - Remote Hubs Survey (For ISOC Chapters) |
This form is being used to keep track of potential IETF Remote Hubs in Africa being organized by Chapters for the IETF 102 meeting that is taking place in Montreal, Canada, from July 14th - 20th, 2018. If you are planning to organize a remote hub, kindly fill the form so as to coordinate efforts also to inform ISOC of what support you may require to make the hub possible.
Sessions that will be available online will start on Monday the 16th of July.
The requirements for a remote hub are simple:
- Pick a venue close to your intended audience, eg, University for academia audience etc
- You just need a meeting room, a stable Internet connection and a laptop, mic, a projector, and speakers.
- Set an agenda for your hub by looking at the meeting agenda for the date and time of the working group session you're interested in (https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/102/agenda.html)
- Spread the word about your remote hub using social media, mailing lists, contacts, etc.
