CFA® Program Level I Exam (IBF-STS Funded)

Funding Application Form

Eligibility Criteria
  • Registered for the CFA Program Level I exam for August 2026 or later
  • Exam registration completed on or after 27 October 2025
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident physically based in Singapore
  • Not an employee attending a training programme as an instructor or facilitator, e.g. presenter, speaker or panellist; and not employees of IBF and MAS
Funding Requirements
  • Sit for the CFA Program Level I exam at a test centre in Singapore and successfully record e-attendance via SingPass; and
  • Pass the CFA Program Level I exam at the exam cycle confirmed for funding
Funding Application Process
  1. complete and submit this funding application form
  2. Send the following to CFA Society Singapore via email at cfa-ibf@cfasocietysingapore.org :
  • Payment receipt of exam registration issued by CFA Institute
All funding application submissions are to be completed 30 days before the registered exam cycle starts. Candidates who do not submit the above-mentioned documents and information within the submission period will not be considered for funding eligibility.

Exam Deferment
Candidates need to:
  1. Submit a funding application deferment request form to CFAS
  2. Send these documents to CFAS via email at cfa-ibf@cfasocietysingapore.org :
  • Original exam registration payment receipt issued by CFA Institute (Original Exam registration must be completed on or after 27 October 2025)
  • Exam deferment confirmation receipt issued by CFA Institute
Kindly note that the funding amount will be calculated based on the exam registration fee reflected on the original registration receipt.

November 2026 exam: 12 October 2026
February 2027 exam: 23 January 2027
May 2027 exam: 11 April 2027
August 2027 exam: 15 July 2027
November 2027 exam: 13 October 2027
