Collaborative Ways of Working – Immunisation - Te Manawa Taki

Project Background:
Our "Health Promotion & Workforce Development Projects" initiative through Te Rau Ora aims to enhance immunisation rates within the Te Manawa Taki (Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairāwhiti, and Taranaki) region. This project is a follow on from the "Reimagining the Future State of Immunisation Project" and runs from June 2024 to December 2024. The project includes several initiatives focused on health promotion, workforce development, and vaccination training.

Our desired outcomes include:
Health Promotion: Increasing awareness and understanding of the importance of immunisation.
Workforce Development: Providing training and resources to healthcare professionals and Hauora Partners to support immunisation efforts.
Vaccination Training: Ensuring that healthcare workers and Hauora Partners are well-equipped to administer vaccinations effectively.
