Broken Hill University Department of Rural Health is one of eleven Commonwealth funded University Departments of Rural Health (UDRHs) across Australia. The data collected in this anonymous survey may be used for any or all of the following:

- to meet Commonwealth Government reporting requirements for UDRHs

- to inform quality improvement processes

- to combine data across the network of UDRHs for promotion or reporting of outcomes and

- to conduct research, subject to institutional ethics committee approval
