With HBA volunteer leaders driving progress in the workplace and across the HBA community, YOU must know an HBA board, committee member or local leader who merits global recognition for their role as a stellar HBA champion—and a STAR (Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition). STAR nominations are submitted by fellow volunteers who've seen and experienced the nominee’s unwavering support, long term commitment, and impactful contributions to the HBA.

HBA’s global network recognizes the STAR at our annual May Woman of the Year (WOTY) event in New York City, bringing together influential executives, leaders, and media to celebrate this extraordinary champion on a global stage.

Here’s how to nominate an exceptional leader in your network:

  • Complete the Nomination Form including the three questions about how your nominee meets the criteria
  • Include (via upload) up to five letters of recommendation (each should be no more than 400 words)

Applications will be accepted through 21 October. You will be notified with the results by email or a phone call in early December.

Regardless of the outcome, thank you for taking time to nominate an individual who deserves the spotlight and merits recognition by our United Force for Change community.
