For the purposes of the Multicultural Action Plan, CALD refers here specifically to people from migrant, refugee or other international origins. Council strategies to acknowledge and support First Nation Australians who live in Alice Springs are addressed specifically in the Alice Springs Town Council Reconciliation Action Plan.
