Community Survey

Dear City of Evanston Resident,

Diversity and inclusion are core values of the Evanston community. To achieve lasting change and better outcomes for our community, we must leverage our diversity and actively practice inclusion. In addition to being the right thing to do, it is the smart and necessary thing to do. We invite you to participate in this survey designed to assess the diversity and inclusion climate in Evanston.

Our principal goal in this effort is to learn from the results in order to continue to encourage inclusiveness in our community. We value and appreciate the feedback that we will receive from you and recognize that it will help us all to make Evanston a better place to live. We acknowledge that much of this information is personal and may be of a sensitive nature. Please be assured that participation in this survey is voluntary. You are free to skip any question in the survey at any time and for any reason.

The City of Evanston is fully committed to maintaining the confidentiality of everyone completing this survey. To this end, the survey is completely anonymous, so we hope you will provide your open and candid responses. It should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the survey. Results will be used in the development of the Housing, Homelessness and Human Relations Commission's 2015-2018 Workplan.
