The ASU pay claim includes the proposition that all employees are paid a percentage above the minimum rates for the industry, to reflect the complexity of the work undertaken by staff at Foundation House.

At members meetings held earlier this year, there were mixed feelings about the disparity between those already paid above the minimum industry rates (the SCHCADS Award), some as much as 12%, and those who are paid at the minimum industry rates and how to form our pay claim going forward.

Three potential scenarios have been proposed for members to vote on:
