Regional Training Survey

Thank you for attending this regional training conducted by the New Jersey Department of education’s Office of Certification and Induction. The goal of the training was to provide clear information on changes to certification regulations, Provisional Teacher Process (PTP) updates, payment for certification and administrator residency updates. The following questions were created to gain feedback on your experience in the training and to collect feedback about the NJDOE's certification landscape analysis mentioned in the training.

The survey consists of questions that ask you to select the response that best represents your level of agreement with the statement in each question form a provided response scale, as well as an open-ended response box where you can type in your response to a question.

This survey should not take more than 10 minutes to complete.

Your responses will be kept confidential and used for internal purposes. If responses are reported out publicly, they will be done so in aggregate.

As mentioned in the presentation, the NJDOE is leading a landscape analysis of certification requirements and processes regarding some areas of certification. The landscape analysis will lead to the development of recommendations for changes to the certification process and the implementation of those changes toward ensuring: all New Jersey students have equitable access to quality educators; requirements and processes allow for fair pathways into the profession; and New Jersey can meet the demands of schools and districts and provide quality educators in all subject areas with minimal undue burdens.
