Substitute Teacher Shortage: ELL Educator Experiences

As more attention is being paid to the substitute teacher shortage crisis nationally, we are hearing that, in some schools, ELL specialists (such as ESL/ENL/ELD/ESOL/ELL teachers) are frequently being pulled from their assigned classes to cover other classes.

We'd like to learn more about your experience in this brief survey and hear about some possible solutions. This information will be kept confidential and used to inform any resources we create on this topic to support ELL educators. Thank you!
