APOST Grant Application Assistance: FY 2026-27 VIP & BOOST Funding

Is your organization located considering applying for VIP & BOOST (Building Opportunities through Out-of-School Time) funding and looking for application assistance?

APOST is offering grant application assistance by providing a select number of organizations the opportunity to work with an experienced grant writer to answer questions and provide feedback on drafts for their FY 2026-27 Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) & Building Opportunities Through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) application. The grant writer would not be writing the majority of the content but would be responding to content that the organization provides with feedback to strengthen the application.

TO APPLY & BE ELIGIBLE FOR APPLICATION ASSISTANCE:

• Organizations must complete the PCCD Applicant Readiness Checklist & be eligible for VIP & BOOST funds. Please be prepared to upload your completed checklist to this application.
  • NOTE: APOST Grant Application Assistance for FY 2026-27 VIP & BOOST Funding is only available for the VIP & BOOST funding stream and is not available for the Statewide BOOST funding stream.
• Organizations must by located in Allegheny County OR be a current Quality Campaign member with APOST.
• Organization must be available to attend the full group introductory call on Tuesday, November 3 from 3pm - 4pm if selected.

This form must be completed by 5pm on October 29, 2026. Organizations will be notified no later than November 2 if they have been selected to receive grant writing assistance through APOST. If selected, organizations are required to attend an introductory call (virtual) on Tuesday, November 3 from 3pm - 4pm.
