CFUW representative on Graduate Women International Organizational Development Steering Committee

GWI recently announced that a committee will be convened with representatives from GWI National Federations and Associations (NFAs) to develop plans to expand GWI’s financial resource base and impact by developing new institutional partnerships. This committee will be chaired by past president, Geeta Desai, and needs women who are committed to GWI’s vision, forward-thinking and solution-focused to be a part of this dynamic process.

Please review the June 23, 2021 GWI Town Hall presentation here for more information about the proposed GWI Steering Committee for Organizational Development and the July letter calling for committee members here. Committee membership will require a significant investment of time.

The CFUW representative will be supported by CFUW national resources, namely the VP International Relations, the National Office and the International Relations Committee.

The anticipated period of this committee’s action is from August 2021 to May 2022.  Applications will be reviewed by the IR committee who will make recommendations to the Board for approval. To ensure the process is fair and objective, names and club/s will not be included in scoring the submissions.

If you are not a member of an op-in club but wish to support GWI, you have the option of becoming a dual member of a GWI supporting club.

Please complete this expression of interest form no later than July 26, 2021; 4 pm, EST. No late applications can be considered. Thank you for your interest.
