Chicago Alumnae Association (CAA) of Alpha Delta Pi
Positions will run through the spring of 2023. Officers spend 1-5 hours per month on their duties, including attending officer meetings & other association events. Below are the officer descriptions. Please nominate yourself or someone else for up to 3 different positions.
President: Runs meetings; oversees all projects; communicates with Executive Office and International Officers; works with all officers to plan association activities. To be eligible for the office of President, a member must have previously served as an officer in the Chicago Alumnae Association.
President-Elect: Serves on the Board of Directors, serves on the Bylaws Revision Committee, assists the President with special tasks, as assigned. Assumes office of President, if necessary.
Vice President of Membership: Recruits new members in the area; coordinates recruitment information sent to graduating seniors; keeps up with all members; introduces new members to other sisters; serves as a contact for activities.

Vice President of Communications:
Organizes monthly newsletter from officer reports & sends to all active alumnae via MailChimp. Maintains the website to keep it up to date. Photographs major alumnae association events.
Vice President of Programs: Plans and organizes all meetings; sends e-vites; finds locations and speakers; ensures a variety of social and professional development activities; organizes food/drinks for meetings; prepares nametags, etc.
Treasurer: Collects dues; keeps up with who has paid; maintains directory of members; pays fees to Executive Office and Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic; balances checking account; encourage savings for Convention; remind alumnae of ReMember dues.
Secretary: Takes minutes at meetings; send minutes to Alumnae Communications Director; handles correspondence of the group which may include checking the group email and responding or forwarding inquiries to the correct officer. Responsible for managing award criteria and submitting to the annual report.
Philanthropy Chair: Organizes philanthropy activities at the RMH and other charities; arranges for PR for the events. Completes EO philanthropy report due annually.
Panhellenic Delegate: Serves as ADPi’s representative at Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic; serves as the liaison with the Alumnae Panhellenic; reports findings back to the association; coordinates group outings/networking opportunities with the local Panhellenic group.
Alumnae-Collegiate Relations Chair: Organizes activities with the local college chapters; serves as the liaison between the chapter & CAA; communicates with the chapter Alumnae Relations Chair; coordinates with chapter to help with recruitment, which may include sending flowers and/or organizing alumnae to help with recruitment workshops.
