Welcome to the Riverside Park Master Plan Survey. The Village is seeking feedback on the planning process for improvements to Riverside Park. Riverside Park is located in the southeast corner of the Village at 700 Riverside Drive. The survey questions below are designed to help inform the Village regarding amenities and uses of the park that residents would like considered for inclusion in the plan.
Please note that a master plan is a concept plan that is often used to seek grant funding and for planning purposes for future design and construction. It is important to note that certain amenities are not possible within the area due to the park's proximity to the Des Plaines River and its designation as a floodway. Items such as a dog park (fencing) for example cannot be constructed. In addition, this plan does not cover the pool or tennis courts. Those amenities are not being considered for redesign/large improvements at this time.
