Route 367 Safety and Operational Improvements Project

From South of I-270 to North of the Halls Ferry Circle

The main purpose of the Route 367 Safety and Operational Improvements project is to improve safety along the corridor from just south of I-270 to just north of the Halls Ferry Circle. Recently, MoDOT put into place a Safety Demonstration Project between Country Dr. and Comet Dr. It is a year-long project to evaluate potential road safety improvements in a real-world setting by gathering evidence and building support to inform larger, long-term safety strategies.

Based on information you received at the Aug. 13 public meeting or have viewed on the Route 367 webpage, please share your thoughts on the project. Comments must by received by the close of day Thursday, August 27, 2026.
1.How do you normally use Route 367? Select all that apply.
2.Have you driven through the Safety Demonstration project?
3.Speeding and reckless driving are major factors in the increase in the number of crashes and fatalities along the corridor. Do you think the measures (southbound lane reduction and barriers between northbound and southbound traffic) put into place as part of the Safety Demonstration Project will assist in reducing speeding and crashes along the corridor?
4.Should MoDOT consider the temporary changes as part of its permanent plans for the overall Route 367 project?
5.How do you view Route 367 south of I-270 – as an expressway (i.e. north of I-270) or an arterial route similar to Route AC (New Halls Ferry)?
6.Based off the information you received during the Aug. 13 public meeting or viewed on the Route 367 webpage, do you have any other feedback to share with MoDOT on its proposed safety and operational improvements along the corridor?
7.What is your name?
8.Please add my e-mail address to the e-mail update list for this project.
