Over the past several years, The Arc of New Jersey has made taking action against sexual violence against people with IDD a priority. We are committed to examining the issue and providing real solutions to preventing future sexual violence and redressing the abuse for the past.
As one part of our work, this survey will help determine the levels of interest, support, and need for sexual education for children and adults with IDD, in school, at home and in the community. This survey will be administered again in the future to measure for changes.
The survey is completely confidential and will not ask for identifying information. The questionnaire itself will only take a couple of minutes, but your answers will guide our work over the next year.
