Tacoma Arts Month 2021: Studio Tour and Artist Fair Survey

Hello, Tacoma artists and creative workers! As we plan for the 20th anniversary of Tacoma Arts Month, we are asking members of this community to answer a few questions to help us gauge interest in participating in the Tacoma Studio Tour or an alternate in-person event this October.

Are you interested in opening your personal studio/office/workspace/rehearsal room to the public as part of the Tacoma Studio Tour in October (dates TBD)? The Tacoma Studio Tour is a community friendly event where the public is invited inside the working studios of local artists to learn about the artistic process, ask questions and purchase one-of-a-kind creations. All studios feature demonstrations or have hands-on activities for visitors. This is a free, family-friendly, self-guided tour around Tacoma and there is no cost to participate.
Are you interested in participating in a Tacoma Artist Fair in October (dates TBD)? This would be a new event, to replace the Tacoma Studio Tour in 2021 only. The fair would be held in a large indoor venue where artists can share their work, provide hands-on demonstrations, and/or sell their work. There would be no cost to participate. The Tacoma Artist Fair would offer:

- Panel reviewed application process
- Oversight and adherence to state and venue health guidelines
- Wi-Fi for business transactions
- Booths with a table and power source
