1. Introduction

The federally-funded Adult and Dislocated Worker Stimulus Program is a workforce development program to reduce unemployment and provide opportunities for short-term training for individuals who qualify. Phase 1 of the program began in September, and Phase 2 is planned to start in November.

This questionnaire, developed by Capital Area Workforce Development Board for the citizens of Wake and Johnston Counties, is designed to assist in determining your eligibility and your career interests for classroom training or occupational field for work-related services. If you do not need classroom training, you may be considered for work experience or on-the-job training. Please read the instructions and answer all questions truthfully.

As part of the questionnaire, if you are interested in training through the JobsNow initiative, you will be asked to select the JobsNOW course of study that you are most interested in for classroom training.

Please note: If you are interested in the JobsNOW program without financial assistance, all of the courses are open to the general public. For more information and costs go to http://jobsnow.waketech.edu/
