Thank you for considering participating in this research project, which is being carried out by MaREI at University College Cork. There are 6 parts to this survey and it should take 15 minutes to complete.
 
What is this research about?
The purpose of this study is to examine people's experience of Creative Climate Action events, which are publicly funded through the Creative Ireland Programme, based in the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media. The research will examine the impacts of Creative Climate Action events on awareness, engagement, attitudes, perceptions and/or behaviours related to climate change.
 
What does participation involve?
Participation involves completion of the following questionnaire, which covers your perceptions of climate change, your reactions to the project event, and your intentions around everyday environmental behaviours. Participation in this study is completely voluntary. There is no obligation to participate, and should you choose to do so you can refuse to answer specific questions, or decide to withdraw from the study prior to completing the survey. All information you provide will be confidential and your anonymity will be protected throughout the study.
 
What happens with the information?
You maintain the right to withdraw from the study at any stage up to the point of data submission. At this point, your data will be collated with that of other participants and can no longer be retracted. The anonymous data will be stored using secure network file storage supported by University College Cork. The data will be stored for a minimum of ten years. The information you provide may contribute to research publications and/or conference presentations, as well as public dissemination.

This study has obtained ethical approval from University College Cork.
