Invitation to Volunteer

The Sheboygan County Chamber would like to invite you to Career Connections, where students are given the opportunity to learn about careers from professionals like you.

Career Connections plays an important role in the academic and career planning process for approximately 1400 Sheboygan County tenth graders each year.  We thank you for your commitment to our youth and for your help in building a talent pipeline for Sheboygan County.

At this time, we are asking you to volunteer for our 2017 Career Connections event which is taking place on April 11th & 12th, 2017 at Lakeshore Technical College.
The format of  Career Connections  was changed last year from formal presentation to a round robin format.  Think of it as speed networking for career exploration!  Groups of students will rotate between two to five career volunteers during each session.

This format allows for personal interaction with the students and makes it easier for you to engage them through questions, hands-on activities and product samples.  Some career sessions cannot accommodate a round robin format due to their location, subject matter or high number of students attending.  All volunteers will be notified of the format for their career session.
