JLMIC Program Survey

The KingCare plan currently managed by Aetna includes three programs available to all people covered by the plan. We are interested in hearing if you have used these programs and if they were helpful. This information will be used to assess the value of the programs to our members.

The programs we are interested in learning more about from a patient perspective are MedQuery, Enhanced Member Outreach and disease management. Your contact with these programs might take the form of:

1) A call from your doctor’s office saying they have been alerted by Aetna that you should have a certain procedure, medication or stop medication based on treatment you have received outside of their office.
2) Contact (a call or letter) from Aetna urging you to contact your doctor for missed or skipped care.
3) Contact from Aetna suggesting you contact your doctor about a specific medical condition that needs immediate attention.
4) Contact from an Aetna representative before or after a hospital stay.
5) Contact from Aetna following a visit to the emergency room.
6) Working with an Aetna representative to urge your doctor to follow a specific course of action in treating your condition.
