The role of the HRRG is to advise and provide input to the College’s policy & advocacy work on health reform matters. In conjunction with other College bodies and members when relevant, the HRRG will:

-        provide input to the development of related College position statements, submissions, responses, and policy recommendations;

-        when appropriate, represent the College at related events and to external bodies and meetings; and

-        develop associated advocacy plans, and actively engage in advocating for the College’s positions and associated recommendations

The outcomes from the HRRG will be provided to the College Policy & Advocacy Council (CPAC) for review and approval.

We are seeking RACP members with an interest in health reform and involvement in relevant issues. There is no selection process or restriction on the number of members. The outcomes from the HRRG will be provided to the College Policy & Advocacy Council (CPAC) for review and approval

RACP members can nominate their particular topics of interest or expertise, or be open to being contacted on all reform matters.

Fellows may be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand as there will be no face to face meetings. Matters will be dealt with via email and tele / video-conferencing. These will be 3 year appointments.
