About the Short Courses

The Coleridge Initiative is offering a series of short courses designed to build analytic capacity among academic, state, federal, and policy-relevant researchers by enhancing data literacy and technical skills through rigorous and modern methods of analysis. The courses will feature hands-on instruction in R using synthetic microdata. 
 
The first course on Data Visualization and Exploratory Data Analysis will consist of four, 2 hour, weekly scheduled meetings via Zoom starting on March 1st 2024. The cost of the course is $1,000. We will notify you of your application status and how to remit payment by February 21st, 2024.
 
Terms of Application

By submitting an application applicants are guaranteeing: 

(1) availability to join all training days listed for the training program,
(2) the applicant and their supervisor understand the required time commitment for project work and class preparation, and
(3) the applicant has a laptop with a working camera that will be turned on during the class and that can be used to access the remote training program.
