2025 MASBO Annual Conference Call for Proposals |
Presentation Information
The 2025 Annual Conference will be held as an in-person event on May 7th-9th, 2025 in Duluth, Minnesota. Sessions for the conference will be presented live, in-person. The deadline for this call of proposal is Thursday, December 19th, 2024. We appreciate your willingness to present!
There are two different kinds of presentations in different formats that may be submitted: Gold Mine and Breakouts Sessions
- Gold Mine Sessions provide an effective way for attendees to obtain information in an abbreviated, interactive format. They are 30 minutes in length, and are held in a round-table format, with each session being presented three consecutive times. Gold Mine topics are usually somewhat technical in nature—past years’ topics include Cash Flow Borrowing, PSEO Finance, EDRS Basics, Construction Defects, Auditing, and Wage Discrepancies. This format works well for topics that can be presented in a shorter period of time, and lend themselves to more dialogue between the presenter and attendees. Gold Mine Sessions will be held on May 7.
- Breakout Sessions are 50 minutes in length and should be educational in nature without reference to promotional information regarding a company or its products. Breakout Sessions will be held on May 7-9.
*If you are interested in submitting more than one presentation as a Gold Mine Session and/or Breakout Session, please submit each topic separately.
