3.Why we want to hear from you
Vogrie House is a lovely Victoria country house set in Vogrie Park. Midlothian Council are considering its future and are looking at options for new use, one of which is artists studies and space for Creative activity. Community Enterprise are supporting that process.
There is an option to develop a new creative space with studios and workshops, retail space, an exhibition area and offices. We believe this can complement the existing cafe and green space work.
We want to understand whether there is demand for this idea, and we how can best work to support artisans and creatives in and around Midlothian.
If you are an artist, crafter, creative or artisan, please take a few minutes to fill in our short survey and tell us what you think.
This survey is in two parts. Firstly, we would like to hear about your creative work, and what support would help you to develop that business. The second part is for anyone interested in using space or taking part in events at such a space.
