CLS Advisors are given access to an online portal where they can see the names and limited information of students who have started applications on their campus, as well as the status of these students’ applications throughout a given competition cycle. Because of the sensitive nature of the information provided through this portal, the CLS Program has several requirements of advisors before they may be issued credentials to access the system.
To be a CLS Advisor, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a verified institutional affiliation;
- Must be a full-time staff or faculty member who works with students;
- Must be in a position to work with applicants across different degree programs applying for all language programs;
- Must use an .EDU email address associated with their college or university (.EDU emails for shared inboxes will not be accepted);
- Must agree to our data privacy policy; and
- Must not be a current applicant for the CLS Program.
