Please note: We have limited funds for adult student scholarships in 2020. These resources are currently limited to female-only applicants, as supported by the Robin Bradley Scholarship Fund and the Oceana County Women Who Care. Additional scholarships may become available.

Adult student scholarships are offered on a rolling basis to Oceana County residents (or residents of a Oceana-based school district) who have been out of high school for at least one year and/or have a gap in their post-secondary education. Adult students are often (but not always) prospective undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older. Adult students may also have other identifying criteria, such as full-time employment, parenthood, care of elderly parents, or prior military service. If you meet this criteria, please read on!

This application serves adult students who are residents of Oceana County. Your completed application may be submitted in three easy steps:
1. Complete this application electronically and submit by clicking the "Submit" button on the Finish screen. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
2. If you are currently enrolled in a degree or credential-seeking program, request an official transcript. You may submit it electronically to danielle@oceanafoundation.org, or mail the transcript to the Community Foundation for Oceana County at PO Box 902, Pentwater, MI 49449.
3. Provide financial information: If you have completed your FAFSA, please provide the first page of your (SAR) Student Aid Report. Email to danielle@oceanafoundation.org, or mail to the Community Foundation at PO Box 902, Pentwater, MI 49449. Please notify the Foundation if you are unable to complete your FAFSA.

It is very important to review your application before clicking the submit button. Our Scholarship Committee will use this information when they make decisions, so please make sure it is complete and accurate. If you do not click the "Submit" button, your application will not be received by the Foundation and you will not be considered for a scholarship.

If you have any questions or need assistance with the scholarship application process, please contact Danielle Siegel, Scholarship Coordinator at danielle@oceanafoundation.org, or call (231) 869-3377.
