We would like to support canteen managers and staff to become more sustainable within their canteens. This includes ideas and ways to swap single-use plastic items for re-usable items, introducing food waste and recycling options, and 10c plastic bottle returns.

8.What are the biggest issues your canteen faces when addressing plastic litter and waste?
9.Have you made any sustainable initiatives in the canteen to reduce single-use plastic items, and recycling waste (plastic bottles, food scraps). If yes, has it been an easy transition or were there roadblocks you have encountered. If no, can you include the reasons.
10.Envirobank is a recycling organisation (West Gosford) that recycles plastic bottles, cans and bottles (flavoured milk, water bottles, juice boxes and Up & Go's), each bottle has a return of 10c. Would you consider including this recycling strategy for your canteen?
11.Remondis have a FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) commercial pick up each Wednesday. Do you think your canteen/school would consider this organic waste pick up strategy?
