The Connecticut Children’s Alliance (CCA): Connecticut MDTs and CACs have been responding to child abuse victims in Connecticut since 1995 and have proven that a collaborative multidisciplinary approach is the best way to ensure that each child receives the appropriate response to recovery. CCA is a coalition of Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) and Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) that work together to improve the system in which child abuse cases are handled. We are dedicated to the enhancement of timely and comprehensive multidisciplinary response to child abuse victims and their families.  Currently, Connecticut has 17 MDTs and 10 CACs.
