The information collected will help identify patterns in staffing, time, and costs associated with reporting, as well as provide insight into overall reporting practices.
Your responses will be used in aggregate to evaluate reporting effort, identify opportunities for improved efficiency, and support future planning and coordination efforts across agencies.

This survey is being conducted as part of the Initiative to Streamline Water Data Reporting in California (ISWDR CA), an effort advancing AB 1755 (the Open and Transparent Water Data Act) to improve how water data is collected, reported, and used across California.
The Initiative is led collaboratively by the California Water Efficiency Partnership (CalWEP), California Data Collaborative, California Water Data Consortium, and the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA), with participation from local agencies, consultants, and state partners.
