Nomination and Nominee Essay must be submitted by Friday, February 10, 2023.
New Mexico Escrow Solutions and Sunwest Escrow, in conjunction with the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS®, have established a scholarship for new REALTOR® family members. Each sponsoring company will select one applicant for the scholarship funds.
To be considered, a recipient must be a relative of a GAAR REALTOR® Member and meet all eligibility criteria. If chosen, the applicant will receive $1,000 to help defray the cost of GAAR and SWMLS Memberships.
The scholarships will be presented to the winning applicants by New Mexico Escrow Solutions and Sunwest Escrow at the GAAR Awards Gala on Friday, March 10, 2023.

o Review the qualifications listed to ensure your nominee qualifies.
o Complete the nomination form. If the form does not allow for enough space for your nomination, feel free to attach additional pages. Please note that all communications regarding the nomination process will be via email, so it is critical that we have an accurate email address for you and the nominee.
o Submit your nomination by mail, email, or hand-deliver.

o Copy and save the link above before you submit this survey or access the link at gaar.com in the GAAR Family Scholarship blog.
New Mexico Escrow Solutions and Sunwest Escrow will review eligible nominations and essays. Each company will select one winner. Winners will be notified and invited to attend the Awards Gala Event on March 10th for recognition.
Criteria:
1. Must be a relative of a GAAR REALTOR® Member. 2. Must be a first-time REALTOR® Member. 3. Must have a New Mexico Real Estate license issued between February 1, 2022 - February 1, 2023. 4. Must have joined GAAR (as primary association) and SWMLS between February 1, 2022 - February 1, 2023.
5. Applicants must submit an essay that answers the question “Why I became a REALTOR®"
