This project is called
Autism In-Justice. The project is run by
Reframing Autism.
The project is funded by the Australian Government through the National Autism Strategy.
We want youth justice staff to better understand Autistic young people. We are creating new training for youth justice staff.
The training will help staff:
- Understand autism
- Communicate well
- Provide better support
- Make young people feel safe and respected
We want to learn from people who have real experience. Your ideas can help improve the youth justice system for other Autistic young people.
