In order to assist parishes during the COVID-19 crisis, the Bishop and the Diocesan Chief Executive need to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of stipendiary clergy, stipendiary lay workers, employees and persons receiving regular honoraria in each parish. Sadly, it may be necessary to encourage parishes to stand down some staff. The bishops and diocesan staff are ready to assist the parish to do this well and in accordance with any relevant law. All this information is strictly confidential to the bishops, the Diocesan Chief Executive and key diocesan staff associated with human resource management and payroll
