Thank you for submitting a manuscript for publication in the MSHP Summer Newsletter & Journal. Submissions will be accepted through Monday, July 6 at 11:59 PM CT. Please complete all required elements of this form in order to be considered for publication.
The review period for article submissions will be Friday, July 10-Friday, July 31. Accepted authors will be required to respond to peer reviewer feedback no later than August 14, 2026. Manuscripts will run in the MSHP Summer Newsletter & Journal Edition in September 2026.
Submission will be accepted up to two years following Residency Graduation. Submissions cannot have been published in another publication prior. If the manuscript is under review by another journal, please wait until a publication decision is made before submitting to the MSHP Journal. If a manuscript has been submitted and declined by another publication, you are welcome to submit to the MSHP Summer Newsletter & Journal.
Authors are required to use the form checklist to ensure that the manuscripts complies with the major stylistic requirements of AJHP, which generally conform with the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) “Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals,” also called the “Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals” or simply “Uniform Requirements” (www.icmje.org/icmje-recommendations.pdf). Exceptions to the ICMJE recommendations are noted with an asterisk (*).
