On average, 62% of girls and women between the age of 15 and 49 have experienced sexual or gender-based violence in Sierra Leone. This is unjust and a crime against Sierra Leonean children. All children are made in God’s image and are worthy of dignity, respect, and opportunities to thrive. It’s time to take urgent action to protect and empower girls everywhere. It’s time for justice. It’s time to end sexual abuse of girls in Sierra Leone. Join us to call on the government to hold perpetrators to account, ban sexual abuse on girls, implement existing laws, and fund services to prevent and respond to sexual abuse on girls. Take action NOW and sign the petition today.
