Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) has a plan for the future, transforming healthcare in the region. As part of our “one system; two sites” model for the future, we will develop a new South Campus at the south-west corner of Yonge Street and Innisfil Beach Road, south of Stroud.

RVH’s South Campus, which is across the street from the Rizzardo Health & Wellness Centre where RVH currently operates a number of outpatient clinics, will be built in stages, beginning with an ambulatory ‘health hub’ and expanding to be a full-service hospital within 20 years.

There has been unprecedented community consultation about RVH’s future plan, with more than 63,500 interactions with a broad range of stakeholders, including our Indigenous partners.

The South Campus has been endorsed by the Barrie Area Native Advisory Circle’s Indigenous Health Circle and RVH will continue to consult with our partners to ensure spaces and services promote culturally sensitive care, healing and recovery.
