Carers Can Video Feedback

Project Overview

Background
Motor neurone disease (MND) is a highly disabling, life-limiting group of conditions that require intensive multi-disciplinary support to help to manage symptoms and optimize quality of life. Symptom management can be challenging and requires coordinated input from a range of health disciplines. MND Victoria understands that MND can present real care challenges and that this can add to the stress experienced by people living with MND and their families. The project was funded by FightMND.
Aim
The aim of the Carers Can Project was to create a suite of 5 short films that provide some initial strategies for managing common care challenges in MND. The videos were designed to fill the gap for people waiting for specialist health professional assessment and support.
