General Information
The NCDA is continuing to monitor the impact of rising operating costs on the courier and sameday sector, including fuel pricing, fleet costs and the increasing discussion around future road taxation models such as eVED (pay-per-mile charging).
The NCDA has recently joined a joint industry letter to Government alongside the BVRLA and other industry bodies expressing significant concern regarding proposed eVED/pay-per-mile taxation and the potential impact on fleets, customers, operating costs and the UK's transition to zero-emission vehicles.
Following previous surveys and recent engagement across the wider transport sector, the NCDA committee is seeking updated feedback from members to help ensure the sameday courier industry is properly represented in future discussions.
All responses will remain confidential and aggregated for reporting purposes.
