This program provides short-term financial support for eligible individuals and families facing urgent housing-related needs, specifically for rent or mortgage payments. It is designed to help one time to prevent eviction or foreclosure during times of crisis, ensuring that individuals and families can remain in their homes.
Our goal is to offer a safety net for those facing temporary financial hardship and help stabilize housing situations in our community. This is made possible through an initial grant provided by the St. Croix Valley Foundation.
Applicants must reside in our service area, provide verification of income, a copy of a rental agreement/lease, and a mortgage or rental statement showing delinquency. Assistance is capped at $500 per application and will be paid directly to the mortgage lender/bank or landlord. Funds are subject to availability.

Are you able to provide verification of income for all adults in the household to include your most recent tax return, at least 3 consecutive months of pay stubs, Social Security Income, Social Security Disability Income, Child Support, Alimony, VA Benefits, Unemployment, Retirement Income, and any other income not specified above?
