Eligibility
Eligibility of each order will be verified by CVC staff prior to it being processed.
One free tree is available to homeowners on less than one acre in Acton SNAP, Cooksville SNAP, Hungry Hollow SNAP, Fletchers Creek SNAP or the Community Tree Project Neighbourhood.*
Limit of one free tree per household in 2026. Additional trees and shrubs are available for purchase after you have ordered your free tree.
*Giveaway neighbourhoods are selected based on current CVC and municipal priorities to best address issues like climate change and flood resilience. Neighbourhoods are subject to change.
