Help other risky gene carriers by sharing your experiences
DO YOU HAVE RISKY GENES?
The intention of this survey is to provide information about the choices and knowledge level of persons affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) syndrome. This information will be compiled and used to form the basis of advocacy programs and to promote emotional and financial support for this cause.
For the purpose of this survey, HBOC syndrome is defined as a proven or assumed inherited genetic mutation that causes higher-than-population risk of breast and ovarian cancer and other related types of cancer, most notably prostate cancer. We often refer to this condition as 'risky genes' to be more inclusive of men, the many genes and the various types of cancer involved.
