Thank you for contributing to the Local Planning Strategy

The Shire of York is reviewing the local planning strategy and scheme. These planning documents provide the long term vision, goals and objectives to guide and control future land use and development in the Shire. The local planning strategy and scheme will consider land use, housing types, density, and identify locations for community and physical infrastructure to support the responsible growth of the Shire.
This survey continues on from the community's response to the Community Scorecard 2017 survey. This survey goes into a bit more detail about key themes such as housing choice and land use to inform the new local planning strategy.

The local planning strategy and scheme will cover all areas within the Shire of York, therefore this survey has been set up to ask specific questions about land use and activity in the town, hamlets, and rural areas of the Shire. You don’t have to answer all the questions – you can just tell us about those areas most important to you.

At the end of the survey, there will be an option to share anything else with us.
